- On April 4th, 2022, Vidhi Mitra, the Legal Aid Cell of Dharmashastra National Law University visited Netraheen Kanya Sevadham and the Girl Child Home (Shri Rajkumari Bai Bal Niketan) in Jabalpur in collaboration with MP SLSA. The visits were extremely fruitful as we came to see the inner workings of these organizations and witnessed the reality due to the surprising nature of our visits. We learn that when the authorities of such organization show hesitancy in sharing their functioning, they are more likely to be indulging in dubiousness. Similarly on the other hand authorities that welcome such surprise inspections can be trusted.
- All the executive members of Vidhi Mitra have been registered on a portal initiated by the Department of Justice. Pro Bono Club (PB club) Scheme, has been conceptualized to strengthen the existing pro bono programme, by integrating law schools and students within its fold. The primary objective of this scheme is to improve the efficiency and quality of pro bono legal services by providing assistance to pro bono advocates through competent law students. Here, selected law students (known as ‘Pro Bono Associates’ or PBA) are part of Pro Bono clubs attached to law schools and helmed by a dedicated faculty in charge. The resolution was passed on 28th January 2022.

The committee in collaboration with MPSLSA is looking forward to find working solutions for these problems and make Narmada and its surroundings clean and green.
- Inspired by the determination to promote equal access to justice for all, Vidhi Mitra has made an year long collaboration with the Legal Aid Centre of University of Lucknow to organise workshops and other various monthly events in furtherance to constitutional equality and upliftment of LGBTQ+ community.
