The Centre for Equality, Minorities Participation, Children’s and Women’s Rights is established at Dharmasastra National Law University, Jabalpur. The Centre is dedicated to promoting fairness and equal opportunities for all, with a special focus on groups minorities, children and women. It works to ensure that these groups are protected, empowered and included in various decision-making processes, while advocating for their legal rights and social justice. The Centre addresses issues of discrimination, inequality, and rights violation and allowes the students to actively engage in social activities and research work helping them to understand the real-world issues regarding equality and justice and fostering a sense of responsibility in them towards the society.
The Centre for Equality, Minorities Participation, Children’s and Women’s Rights (EMPOWER) focuses on promoting equality and inclusivity of all the individuals irrespective of gender or caste. It aims to work for the upliftment of minorities in the society. The centre strives to spread awareness regarding the problems faced by the women, children and the minorities by organising various conferences and events. It aims to conduct research and field surveys on the issues faced by the marginalised people of the society. The centre strives to provide a platform for the marginalised and deprived people to share their problems and grievances.
